RMA App helps Fantech to digitalize the process of returning the merchandise. RMA is aimed to connect managers and customers and systemize the known process.

Fantech clients can easily return their merchandise without contacting the manager. The app is very flexible and works using SPA technology.

Systemair is a leading ventilation group with operations in 50 countries throughout Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia, and South Africa. It develops, designs, manufactures and market high-quality ventilation products and systems for customers in more than 130 countries. The Company was founded in 1974 at the initiative of Chairman of the Board Gerald Engström. Its shares have been quoted on the Mid Cap List of NASDAQ OMX Stockholm since October 2007.

 

Under the Fantech brand, the company develops, design and market ventilation solutions in North America. Products are sold to distributors in the United States and Canada by the Group’s own sales staff and agents. Systemair uses the Fantech brand for the residential sector.

Project

Return Merchandise Authorisation helps Fantech in the organization of an important business process. 

By developing RMA App from scratch we wanted to make sure that Fantech is doing the right investment. We calculated how much time Fantech managers spend on communication with client and filling physical forms. After this research we understood that the investment worth the return.

As a result we started implementing the digital improvements with a coordination and cooperation of Fantech sales and marketing team.

Manager replies using multiple functions with a preset layout for PDF files and emails.

Responsibilities

  • Digitized the process of returning goods from the analog world to digital. 
  • Developed a custom CRM for a single business process.
  • Created an algorithm that helps the manager to choose which products can be returned. 
  • Programed and designed custom PDF files for RMA’s that changes its data ‘on-the-flow’.
  • Provided Fantech enough security for the app. Alex needed to understand that the data is safe and in control.

Solution

The solution that we developed was built in a tight cooperation with Fantech team. We worled closely with sales and marketing departments that kindly invested thei time in us to understand the whole business process.

RMA was developed using the great combination of frontend and backend technologies: PHP, Laravel and Vue.js frmawork. There were other technologies used to support the transparent and agile development (Like Docker, GitHub and other).

Result

We developed a soft for Fantech that created a real benefit for the business. UX design of the app is very convenient for both managers and clients, because we decided to use material design. (We used material design for all Fantech projects). 

RMA App saved Fantech much time while communicating with customers. No other company from HVAC engineering industry did not digitize this process before.
